Back from winter break... kinda

I'm sipping my afternoon coffee while looking out my front window through a hazy orange glow caused by the smoke from five different fires across the Los Angeles basin. My family and I are safe, far from the devastation, but the Los Angeles community is in ashes.

Today was supposed to be The Hungry's return from the winter break, but things feel almost contrived and a bit pointless considering the circumstances. I'm sitting cozy in my home, away from the fire and ash, talking about newsletter growth while family and friends are worried if their homes will go up in blazes overnight.

I have so much I want to share with you. I have news about the future of The Hungry for 2025 and so many good links worthy of your clicks, but I'll reserve that for next week.

Instead, I only have one link for you to check out. If you can see it in your heart to help the good people of Los Angeles who have lost everything, please check out this list of vetted organizations where you can donate and contribute.

How to Help People Impacted by the California Fires

The Hungry will return to regular form next week. Until then, thank you for your support.
